• Either y neither sirven para referirse a elecciones entre dos opciones. Either es una opcion o la otra, y neither es, ni una ni la otra opcion. Ejemplos para entenderlo :

Monday or Tuesday? Yes, either day is fine. (¿Lunes o Martes? Si cualquier dia esta bien, es decir, el lunes o el martes esta bien)

Monday or tuesday? I’m sorry, but neither day is convenient,( ¿Lunes o martes? Lo siento, pero ningun dia es conveniente, es decir, ni lunes ni martes es conveniente)

• not + either es lo mismo que neither:
  I didn’t like either of those films = Neither of the films was any good
  
  

• Either puede tambien significar both ( ambos, los dos) . Nota que either va seguido por la forma singular del nombreOn either side of the house there are shops.
  On either side( SINGULAR) = On both sides(PLURAL)
  ( En ambos lados de la casa hay tiendas)

• Otra manera de usar either y neither es la siguiente:

  NEITHER
  Neither Sara nor Pablo went to the party. ( Ni sara ni Pablo fueron a la fiesta)
  
  EITHER
  Either sara or Pablo went to the party. ( Sara o Pablo fueron ala fiesta)

  BOTH

• Both of them went to the party ( Ambos , los dos, fueron a la fiesta)
